The process of finding that routine may appear daunting, especially when there are numerous options for people wit the same hair type. Your individual routine depends on your natural hair type and texture, how you wear it and the treatments you've done.

All routines, however, share the same basic component

Cleansing

Cleansing is a balance between removing things like dead skin and built-up product residue while making sure that you don't strip your hair of its natural oils.

TIP: When we apply products to our hai (shampoo, conditioner, mousse, serum, etc) we automatically apply them to the top of our head and this is the very last place we need it. When using shampoo, make sure that your hair is thoroughly wet. Apply shampad to your hands first, then gently massage on your scalp.

If you DON'T get foam on your hair, DO NOT add more shampoo but DO add more water.

Conditioning

Conditioners have senefits but their main function is to moistur

TIP: Towel dry your hair first before you apply conditioner to your hair so that you are using it at its full strength and not diluted!

If you are a swimmer, you DO NOT want to leave chlorine on your hair. The longer it sits, the more time it has to strip your hair of its natural oil and cause damage. When you go swimming, cover your hair with a cap, or apply a conditioning mask to create a barrier on your hair.
